Terms & Conditions

Normal Delivery Package

  • Valid for a limited time only.
  • Cannot be used with other promotions, offers and discounts.
  • Applicable for 2 days & 1-night ward stay in single bedded.
  • The cost stated is including Professional Fees for Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (Delivery Charges & Consultation).
  • Valid for complication-free deliveries only.
  • Valid for Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery (SVD) only. Induction, Forceps/Vacuum, Epidural procedure is not included.
  • The package including for mother meals & nursing care.
  • Valid for mother’s delivery bill and excludes baby’s bill.
  • The package is including routine medical supplies for the labour process.
  • The package is including maternal monitoring during labour.
  • On-call charges (after office hours, Sunday & Public Holidays) are included.
  • The package is not including charges for the use of medication, and the use of PPE such as masks, face shields, gloves, sanitisers, safety goggles, etc.
  • The prices and payable items listed may not mirror the conclusive billing.
  • The patient must have at least two (2) visits with UM Specialist Centre Sdn Bhd (UMSC) consultants to be eligible for this package.
  • Not recommended to high-risk Pregnancy.
  • Applicable to self-paying patients only.
  • Valid for cash & credit card payment only.
  • Full deposit is required at the 36th week of pregnancy
  • UMSC reserves the right to amend any terms and conditions in the package without prior notice

Elective Caesarean Delivery Package

  • Valid for a limited time only.
  • Cannot be used with other promotions, offers and discounts.
  • Applicable for 2 days & 1-night ward stay in single bedded.
  • Package covered for elective caesarean complication-free deliveries only.
  • Professional Fees for Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (Delivery Charges & Consultation) are included.
  • Anaesthesia and Anaesthesiologist procedure fees are included.
  • Use of operating theatre, routine operating theatre supplies and medication are included.
  • Valid for mother’s delivery bill and excludes baby’s bill.
  • Mother meals & nursing care are included.
  • Use of medication, PPE such as masks, face shields, gloves, sanitisers, safety goggles, etc are not included in the charges
  • On-call charges (after office hours, Sunday & Public Holidays) are included.

For Baby Package

  • Cost including Consultant Paediatrician (Professor Doctor) in attendance during the delivery.
  • Fetal monitoring during delivery is included.
  • Baby Nursing Care is included.
  • Head to toe examination of the baby by Consultant Paediatrician (Professor Doctor)
  • Neonatal screening for blood group & Rhesus, G6PD and Thyroid Hormones.
  • Routine newborn baby Vaccination (Vitamin K, BCG & Hepatitis B – 1st dose) are included.
  • The cost for any complications affecting the baby (CPAP, oxygen, etc) is not included.
