Dr Teo Seow Hui completed her medical degree from the International Medical University, Malaysia in the year 2004. She obtained her MRCS (Ire) from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland in 2012 and completed her Master in Orthopaedic Surgery at University Malaya in the year 2014. Soon after, she joined University Malaya as a Clinical Lecturer/Orthopaedic Surgeon. Since then, she has been in the Sport Injuries and Joint Reconstruction Arthroscopic Surgery unit and completed her 3 years subspecialty fellowship in 2018. She also obtained a fellowship in Shoulder and Knee Arthroscopic Surgery in Samsung Hospital, Seoul in 2017. Her expertise is in arthroscopy and sport-related knee and shoulder injuries, particularly ACL, meniscus, cartilage, MPFL, shoulder instability, rotator cuff disease and impingement. She is currently a committee member of Malaysia Arthroscopy Society.
She is also a clinical lecturer and examiner in Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. She trains the undergraduates and master students in Orthopaedic Surgery. She actively participates in researches to improve quality of medical care. She is a committee member of the Malaysian Arthroscopic Society (MAS) and life member in Malaysian Orthopaedic Association (MOA), Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA).
