The Department of Anaesthesiology at UMSC provides a comprehensive package of preoperative, intraoperative and immediate postoperative care for a wide variety of routine and challenging procedures done in UMSC. Our primary aim and concern is to protect the well-being and safety of all our patients by maintaining a stable condition during and following an operation.

We also provide care for the critically ill patients in our brand new intensive care unit that is equipped with the latest equipment and technology to ensure that our patients get the best treatment. In addition, we have Consultants who specializes in providing care for patients with chronic and cancer pain in both hospital and outpatient clinic.
