The Endoscopy Centre at UM Specialist Centre (UMSC) provides comprehensive diagnostic endoscopic services, supporting early detection, accurate diagnosis, and timely clinical management.

Diagnostic services include evaluation of patients with: 

•  Upper and lower gastrointestinal symptoms.
• Gastrointestinal bleeding, anaemia, or unexplained weight loss.
• Suspected or known inflammatory bowel disease.
• Colorectal cancer screening and surveillance.
• Surveillance of polyps and premalignant conditions.
• Follow-up of chronic gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.

Key Diagnostic Procedures

• Gastroscopy (OGDS) – assessment of the oesophagus, stomach, and duodenum
• Colonoscopy – comprehensive evaluation of the colon and rectum, including screening,
  surveillance, and biopsy.
• Flexible sigmoidoscopy.
• Endoscopic biopsy for histopathological diagnosis.
